Welcome to GlobeMed at Notre Dame's Blog! GlobeMed is a network of students that partner with grassroots organizations to improve the health of the impoverished and the vulnerable around the world.  The Notre Dame chapter partners with the Promotion for Education and Development Association (PEDA), based in Vientiane, Laos. Our mission is to support PEDA in their efforts to combat malaria, tuberculosis and poor nutrition in rural Laos, while also learning about issues in global health with a social justice lens--and having a blast while doing so!!
